Em-Te Town is being marketed as an Asset Sale. This includes Land, Buildings, Antiques, as well as all the furnishings and fixtures integral to its operation as a functioning Resort or Retreat. A list of included fixed and other assets is available to the qualified buyer.

Em-Te Town is a one of a kind unique facility which can likely never be replicated. It is a show piece replica Old Western Town (circa 1880) presently utilized as a tourist attraction and multifaceted western resort which includes campground & banquet facility. There are many other possible uses for Em-Te Town such as; a dedicated corporate retreat, private camp, special events venue, or western activities center.

Em-Te Town was purchased by the current ownership in 2008. The property was previously utilized as a business, However it had been in serious decline for reasons we believe were entirely preventable. As a result there was very little active business being conducted at the time of purchase. In addition, the physical condition of the facility had deteriorated badly.

At the time of purchase, the present owners made a decision to condemn the kitchen, and build a new one.  Almost no furnishings, fixtures, tools or equipment necessary to operate the facility, were included in the sale. In short, almost everything had to be purchased from scratch. So the primary emphasis at the time was to first to put the facility into good working order.

Over the ensuing years much work was done to bring the Town back to its rightful state. Most of the existing infrastructure was repaired and upgraded. New infrastructure was built, including a modern commercial Kitchen, Bathrooms, Office, and Pantry. A Grande Banquet Hall was constructed in order to facilitate weddings, reunions, corporate retreats, dances, and special events. Two new power & water campground loops were installed. The list goes on. For a more comprehensive listing please see our “Improvements” page.

As revenue increased year after year, the owners re-invested into rebuilding and upgrading the facility infrastructure. Over the past few years the business operations have proved to be profitable, even if only as a seasonal business. There is the option to remain open year round. Unfortunately the present owners have other business interests, do not reside in the area, and so were restricted in their ability to dedicate the time necessary to employ a comprehensive marketing strategy. For this reason, combined with recent developments of a personal nature, the present owners have decided to seek new ownership. They are no longer able to facilitate continued growth and allow Em-Te Town to realize its true potential.

We are confident that with a sustained marketing effort, and good management, revenues will continue to increase, and the clientele base will continue to grow.
